Service Delivery

Caroline is able to offer speech and language sessions in person, through teletherapy, and hybrid options. In-person options can look like meeting a child at their home or school (within a certain radius) or welcoming a child to Caroline’s home in Burlington. Teletherapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person services by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Caroline and a client’s family can discuss different approaches at an initial consultation.

According to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA):

“ASHA views telepractice as an appropriate service delivery model for hearing and speech-language services. Practitioners follow the same ASHA service delivery guidelines, scope of practice, and Code of Ethics requirements that apply to face-to-face services, as well as any applicable state and federal laws.”
